Well, had a few updates from hubby since he's been in Muscat and to be fair, most of it sounds lovely.... Weather nice, schools nice, houses nice and his personal highlight I think - a Starbucks on the beach! He's still negogiating at the moment but a big sticking point could be the waiting list to get the girls into a good school. I'm only just coping this week, let alone if he went for a few months! No, I've said we all go or no one goes!! So there! ;-) The move is becoming slightly more of a reality though, I've been thinking what a nightmare it would be to get our house here ready to rent out. All those leaks, drips etc would need to fixed at last, things we've learnt to live with but I'm sure wouldn't be very attractive to a potential tenant. Oh well, let's put those thoughts to the back of my mind again in that little box marked 'Might never happen'....
Now, where was I? Oh yes, wrapping presents.......

Well, it's 2 weeks before Christmas and I did not envisage spending the build up to this 'special' time of year alone, with 3, spirited shall we call it, kids! Hubby is now favourite for the Oman job....a good thing you would think? Well, the ole' brain isn't communicating that fact to my face right now. I know it could be a good opportunity but I just don't want to go, simple as that. Hubby's off for a week in the sun next week to have a look around and negogiate the package, meanwhile, I'll be home, drinking a little more mulled wine than perhaps I should!
Lets hope the offer is too good to turn down and we'll be living a lavish, champagne lifestyle.....I think I'd still rather be here with my very un-champagne like lifestyle with my nearest and dearest. Well, lets wait and see what they're offering shall we?
